TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to COMET (the “App”), developed and operated by Edbo Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using COMET, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using COMET, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the App.Eligibility
COMET is intended exclusively for Certified Orientation and Mobility (COMS) professionals aged 18 and older. The App is not intended for use by minors under 13, and no children will use the App directly.Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Data Collection and Usage
COMET collects personal, performance, and medical data, including O&M skill performance, eye conditions, visual acuities, and relevant medical conditions.
Data is stored locally on your device and in our secure database managed by Edbo Technologies LLC.
We comply with applicable privacy laws, including FERPA and HIPAA, to protect your and your clients’ information.

User Content and Ownership
You retain ownership of all reports and content you generate using COMET.
You are responsible for the content you upload, generate, or share.

Payments and Trials
COMET usage and licensing fees, if applicable, are managed externally via a third-party website. No payments occur directly within the App.
We may offer free trial periods at our discretion.
Refunds and payment terms are governed by the third-party payment provider.
Prohibited Uses and Restrictions
Use of COMET is restricted to certified O&M professionals for lawful and professional purposes only.
You may not redistribute, sublicense, or copy the App, its content, or generated reports outside authorized uses.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution may result in termination and legal action.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to COMET at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the App.
Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
COMET is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of reports generated by the App.
Edbo Technologies LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of COMET, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law

Travelers do not use COMET directly. Only authorized professionals input Traveler information.

App usage metrics and error logs (for analytics and debugging)
